Our aim is to provide in depth & inspiring training in the North East helping to develop and prepare for a life in the Arts.
Having worked as a Children’s and Resident Director for over ten years; and having sat in countless auditions, it became evident to me that many children & young adults keen to pursue a career in Performing Arts were losing out on contracts & college placements due to a lack of detail and confidence in their work. Being from the North myself, I wanted to offer kids & students in the North East unique, honest and inspiring training to help build on the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful in the performance industry. Our aim is to help educate but ultimately to inspire.

The basis of a good singing technique is imperative and essential to a long and successful career, which is why we will educate the students in the Estill technique (essentially the physiology of voice and how it works) and how to use the voice intelligently and safely.
1hr session
Many actors, especially children tend to rehearse their lines over and over; and solidify a tune, or a way to deliver lines. This is fundamentally wrong! The key to a true and honest actor is knowing how to listen, to be aware of body language and surroundings, scenario and status.

Wether we are Singing, Acting, or Dancing, essentially we are telling a story, so every dance class will primarily be connecting to emotion and telling story through the art of movement and dance. We will do this covering a variety of styles including, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Technique.

This part of the afternoon will cover various topics and skills. We will have guest performers from different genres of the industry including Performers from West End and touring shows, TV and Screen, Directors and Choreographers, who will present interesting and challenging sessions.
